Richland community, student body, staff and school board are all very proud of Richland school and this pride is shown by the following accomplishments:

• Richland named Missouri School District of the Year 2018
• Richland R-1 the only National Blue Ribbon School in Missouri
• Richland Elementary named National Blue Ribbon school 2018
• Richland High School named National Blue Ribbon school 2016
• Richland school is number one academic assessment achieving school in state of Missouri
• Richland High School named Missouri Gold Star school 2015
• Richland school named top 100 schools in United States 2014, 2016
• Elementary scored 100% on APR for multiple years
• High school has scored 100% on APR
• Richland school has been number one academic achieving school in southeast Missouri four consecutive years
• First school in Missouri to be one to one Pre-K to 12

We believe these accomplishments are due to a great staff and great kids combined with our goal of having at least 95% of our students active in something to enhance school pride and ownership.
