What is Google Classroom?
Google Classroom provides a system for teachers to create, share, and grade class work and for students to access and complete assignments.
Does my child need to check Google Classroom every day?
Yes, students should open and view comments and assignments in each class every day. While assignments that are due that day pop up on the homepage, notes that teachers have posted appear in the stream and the only notification is to actually click on the class. Parents and students are encouraged to click on every classroom to read notices from teachers, as well as to see assignments.

How does my child enter a Google Meet?
If you do not have internet and cannot log into Google Meet there is an option to call in. Please let your teacher know if you do not have internet and he or she will provide you with the number to call in.
Can my child work on assignments without internet?
Students may work offline with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides in Chrome, iOS, or Android. In the Docs, Sheets, or Slides mobile apps go to Settings then select Make Recent Files Available Offline. Students also may work offline with Google Drive in Chrome on the web: Enable the checkbox next to Offline in Google Drive settings. Can I get an e-mailed update on my child's work?
A parent or guardian may receive emailed updates about their child's work via Google Classroom. These daily or weekly updates include information about class activity, class work, and missing work. Only a teacher may add a person's email address into classroom to receive these emails.
If you are interested in guardian email summaries please make sure you have provided your email address to your child's teacher.
